Question Ideas/suggestions on Aspec kit?

hey guys, i was just wondering how some of you Canadian owners (like myself) have gotten your aspec kits, since it seems like they are only available in the US.. i'm looking to get a type-s aspec front and rear, however shipping costs are ridiculous.. did you know someone over there that helped you out, or did you guys just bite the bullet and pay shipping? since i've got the discontinued ASM (silver) i'd also have to get it painted.. so all of these added costs have me looking for other ways to cut costs lol. any help or advice is appreciated, thanks!

I actually picked mine up this summer. Ordered it from Bruce and used CBIUSA to keep my package until I was ready to pick it up across the border. Even with the absolute crappy dollar, I still saved over $100 on the lip, and that even with paying $50 CAD duties on them, and the $10 USD CBI charged me. I gave up on finding OEM ones up here and just bit the bullet and got one in the states. CBI is literally right across the border, in and out in less than 30 minutes. Shipping it here was way too much for me, mind you I only got the front lip.

Most of us who want to save money pick it up from the border
It's the cheapest method.

Is picking up at the border for large OEM parts like bumpers and lips the best way for us Canadians? I had an eBay seller ship me an oem bumper for my accord through the eBay global shipping program for only $30 USD shipping no duties or COD fees. But I've had zero luck finding an Acura parts vendor do this for me.

So what's the best way for me to get a 07-08 type s bumper? Dealership quoted me $591

I've used them in the past for many large items from my Maxima, such as exhaust etc. Great service.

May have to look into them, because by the time I buy I Fiberglass ASpec kit here and paint it, it would cost almost the same to just buy an actual OEM already painted.

If you do that, you're not saving on duties, you're avoiding paying any duties or taxes when you come back over and not declaring it.

I use KinekPoint.
