Anyone notice the cool blue anodized look on the new insight and I think prius?
What about painting that ring around the projector or something else in the headlight this color. I think with the right color combo, this could be a great idea. My lugs are already this color so it would be cool for me...
But I don't think I have the sack to do it so I'm putting it out there.
Anyway, just an idea for all of you out there. If you decide to give it a whirl keep us posted! Thank you

I think it looks out of place.

I actually thought about this too...rather than blacking out the chrome at all...using nightshades to blacken out the amber reflector inside the housing. That way it all looked black but would light up really well. The dark chrome might look cool...

Thanks for taking the time to do that. That looks damned good, in my opinion. Maybe even leave the inside portion of the reflector chrome. So the bulb won't shine bluish. Just do blue on the parts one would normally "black out".

Honestly, when I pictured the idea in my head, I was thinking more like just the bezel of the projector, or just that area in front of both the fog light and low beam that is chrome that people normally paint black. That part sits low in the lense so you woudln't see it directly, just as you take a closer look at the light. And it wouldn't affect the color output of the light either.
