In my opinion the cars are fairly even. Just for the record, I just picked up my '08 TL type-s yesterday. Honestly both cars feel about the same. I can say that without bias because now I've owned both.
yeah but U gotta break in the type s...

I don't know maybe I just had an SE-R that was built on wednesday! I will admit something. I did not spend my time drag racing my SE-R. A large amount of my racing was at higher speeds. Usually from 60 up to 140 on the highway. I ran that SE-R nose to nose with my friends 350z 6spd. I gauged my car mainly on it's mid-range power, low end torque and throttle response. I haven't had a chance to really open up my TYPE-S yet and I'm surely looking forward to it. I will make sure it at least does all of the 147mph it say it will!

According to who? I always like having an edge. A lot of the cars that run 150+ are more expensive or less luxurios than I want.

That would be the responsible thing to do, but where's the fun in that. I don't do those things as often anymore. Sometimes it's theoraputic to open your car up on a 4 or 5 mile stretch of clear highway at night.

Occasionally there might be another driver out for some therapy. He might be driving a bmw, is300 or infiniti. Might as well have a car that will keep up so they aren't all alone. ha,ha,ha!

Well, for the limiter, I'm not sure if the HKS SLD (Speed Limit Defencer) would work for the TL, but it might. Very popular in Japan where the limit is at 180km/h or 112MPH.

~Cheers~

Do you plan on modding?
