Not a lot of people on here with CF hoods, 2-tone or full. I really don't know of anyone who has the 2-tone besides 1 member whose name escapes me, but MichaelBenz & Blackura_NY had the VIS hoods.

VIS makes one, however I believe fitment is either a hit or a miss with them.

 

The fitment isn't always right, and there isn't much you can do about it. I looked into it, and the stock hood is light enough. Also keep in mind that if you get the hood...it is suggested to get hood pins as well.

 

 

Was there not a member who had just the middle portion, or so, left in CF while the surrounding hood was painted anthracite??

 

Hood pins are far from ghetto.

The VIS one also runs around $800-900 iirc.

il get a pic of my cf hood up here, i got the sides of mine painted anthracite and left the middle cf. dont really need hood pins either unless u planning to trck your car or drive past 90mph

Yea I'm pretty sure you are, more than once, go past 90mph...if you just want it for looks, then get it wrapped and clear coat it. If it is for praticality, you must be going over 90mph or the hood is impractical.

Also I don't see how hoodpins are ghetto...

if your gonna get a vis cf hood...buy it directly from them if fitment isnt right or the cf isnt laid right...they have no prob sending you another after sending the original one back...my friend has a mustang and it took 4 hoods before he got one that was just right

 

I have a cf hood from Versus Motorsports. Will post pics asap. I bought it for 120 since they were going to move their warehouse and they wanted to get rid of them. I had a local bodyshop put a darker gel coat on it afterwards since it looked kind of dull when I first got it. Now it shines beautifully.
