I WANT CLEARED/BLACKED OUT Headlights!
I have opted to go for cleared/blacked headlights instead of an intake for now. The problem is, I still can't find a shop that can do it for me! I have searched and searched, maybe I'm retarded because I can't find any.
Any shops in Oregon that do it? Or people who won't mess up perhaps?
I can't send my headlights to someone in another state because the recent weather conditions require the use of my headlights...
Thanks

Gratis dictum
From what I have read, some have had their lights cleared successfully and others have met with disaster. Unless you can find a place locally that you have confidence in, I don't think I would risk it. Plus, all the moisture we here in the northwest have would tend to creep into the headlight module if not sealed properly. Think carefully on this.

One on the right for me
I have run into countless people who have separated their lense from the headlight and then have had moisture problems. While this will not always lead to a problem, it can. Its just a risk, I personally would love to black out my headlights and paint my front grill, so I am willing to take that risk, just some should be aware of the problems that might follow such an ordeal.

DonkeyKang... good luck finding somewhere in Oregon. Definately listen to the above posts and make sure that you do find a reputable place. The only reason I trusted the place that did mine is beacause I was able to see Casper42's lights before I got mine doen at the same place. Also, they guaranteed no moisture leaks.
You could always do them yourself, I know there are threads out there with instructions.

DIY from soopa
Clear Lights
1. Remove Headlights
2. Place headlights on a wet towel inside of an oven. Heat oven to 225 degrees. (Do not preheat)
3. After 20-25 minutes remove headlights from oven.
4. Seperate headlights by hand starting from the inner corner.
5. Allow to cool for 10 minutes. Using a razor, trim excess silicone from the inside of the lens cover. Do not remove silicone from the black portion of the housing where the sealant channel is, you will be reusing it.
6. Remove thw two screws that hold the chrome housing to the lens cover.
7. You may now pop out the amber reflector by pushing a CLEAN screwdriver or any utensil for that matter through the hole fpr the parking light.
8. Reattach the chrome portion of the housing to the clear lens.
9. Place lens and black housing back in the oven at 225 degrees for 10 minutes. Do not reassemble yet.
10. After the stock sealent has softened remove both pieces from the oven.
11. Add a small, fresh bead of silicon to the sealant channel on the black portion of the headlight housing.
12. Beginning from the outer side of the headlight, reattach the lens portion of the housing to the black portion.
14. Tighten lens to the black housing in each corner using bar clamps.
15. Allow 24 hours for silicone to cure.
16. Cover holes with duct tape. Test for leaks in steamy bathroom.
17. Put back on car.

Thanks for all the help guys. The only reason I don't want to do it myself is because I don't trust myself to seal them correctly. Any suggestions for locations in Washington? I'm willing to make the drive, just want to get them done sometime.

I got my turn signals cleared then had the housings painted black in Glendale, CA.
But if you can't make it down there (~15 hour drive?), I think any reputable auto customizing shop could do it. While waiting for my lights to be done, I flipped through the place's photo book and they had done several other headlights on a number of different makes and models.
I looked at the DIY by soopa before I got mine done, and while I think I could manage it, I wasn't prepared to experiment on my car.
Almost forgot - the guy who cleared my signals painted the chrome ring around the HID's black, too. I recommend you do NOT do this. I personally like the chrome (it goes with the chrome bar in the light). Also, I like Jatt's tinting of the orange turn signal cover. If I could do it all over again, I think I'd do it that way.
