Whats up with the super cheap floormats??? I think cardboard is more durable... This is my only other true ***** with the car.

I won't see mine until winter's over and I take out the all-weather mats.

I'm thinking about buying the ebony floor mats for my quartz interior. I think they'd look great, and not show "WEAR" as much.

the floor mats are very cheap, and the rear ones don't even fit that well

Yeah, I noticed that they were really cheap too.

Does anyone know if anybody makes any good aftermarket floor mats with the Acura logo on them?

Acuraddict - they sell Weathertech "looking" silver/gray rubber mats at Costco. I have a brown set for my wife's Montero. They hold water well since they have deep groves. Costco only carries the brown the the silver/gray color. Funny, no black.

Hhmmmm...perhaps I simply have bad taste in floor mats (can you actually have taste in floor mats?), but I noticed that they are really pluch feeling and quite comfy (I'm big on driving sans shoes). Where are people finding problems?? I have almost 2K miles on the car and they are looking fine for me

I just got (they were backordered) the all season black TL mats from Acura for my Quartz interior last night. They fit like a glove and seem to be incredibly thick and durable. It is supposed to snow here in Cincy today, so I should be able to realize their use immediately, but so far I'm impressed with them.

Grasshopper, again you have missed the point! The mats are not cheap at all! The backing material is designed to avoid slippage without resorting to the million spike phenomenon. The surface is as long lasting as anything out there. Same thing with the felt material in the rear wheel-well. It might look strange but its a method to reduce interior noise which surprisingly work very well.

I agree they don't slip... I'm not sure how long they will last.
