I searched the forum and the 3G garage but couldn't find the information I was looking for. I need to replace the driver side front parking light on an '04 TL. Any information/links on bulb specs and/or DIY instructions are greatly appreciated.

At least now I know how to cut a hole behind my glove box to replace the cabin air filter and how to replace the side markers with LEDs

-Turn the wheel all the way to the right

-shut off car

-Look at the black Splash shield that runs along the front bumper (Along the side of front bumper to the inside of fender)

-Half way up the bumper (give or take) will be a clip that hold the splash shield to the side of the bumper.

-Use a very small flat head screw driver and pop the center of the clip away from the base of the clip.

-Use that same small screw driver and remove the clip. Then use the screw driver and gently pry back on the splash shield.

-When shield is back, shove your arm towards the headlight and feel for the parking/signal socket.

-Twist off socket

-Install new bulb

-Twist back on socket to headlight housing

-Put back splash shield

-Put back in clip, make sure it goes through the bumper part as well

-Go wash your hands

^^ Thanks for the DIY info. Do you know the specs of the bulb or have a link to it?

Mods - can this info be added to the Garage (if it isn't already in there and I just missed it)?
