i need help pickig tail lights. i have a 05 base anthracite metallic and cant decide which one looks better. i need someone who has a anthracite metallic with different set of tails to get an idea or maybe someone who can photoshop it.

Anything wrong with the OEM ones on the car? Or just looking for a different look?

 

Stick with stock, solid and simple red. I think those look cheesy, personally. Or maybe solid tinted if you could find them.

 

I had the ghost tails in clear on my car and i loved them. Selling them now because I upgraded to a Type-S so I'm taking my car back to stock...


Don't get Type-S tails. everyone and their mother already has those; they look nice though not knocking anyone who does have them...Even I used to have them.

 

I have a base 04 anthacite mettalic, I just installed the clear/ black tail lights on yesterday, it looks so nice, already got compliments about it. If you're choosing go with the clear/black! I would put a picture but I'm new so I can't post pictures. If you email me I can send you the pictures!

 

Put that money towards A-Spec or suspension

that will be a later mod. i just got a 07 front bumper (Base) and i already hv the aspec rear lip also im going to repaint back bumper this is y i want to take advantage also i hv a set of 07 mirrors on hold too. then i will get the rims and suspension later.

thats y i want to leave the type s tails as a last option.

I agree with IamaTL, do something custom with your lights. That or buy OEM lights that you want, some aftermarket lights have fitment issues.

 

to be honest i dont even want to mess with anything like opeing up tails and stuff like that i rather trade someone my tails for somebody who is tired of their tails or maybe ack has a custom set already made that i can trade him

 

Basically what he does is custom makes them for you and then you send him your tails for the set he makes you. As long as your tails are in good shape. He also does headlights as well among getting other OEM parts at great prices. Since you're in PA, you can always make the drive to his garage. I have met up with him to put my A-Spec kit on as well as my custom headlights. That way you don't have to ship anything out and can get everything done in one shot.

 

i already got my headlights done. i just need the tails im going to send him a message. i hit him up a couple of times on prices but havnt bought anything yet from him. ima check it out tho

 

Yeah sometimes he's a little slow to get back to messages on here. Even when I have texted him, it wasn't always a fast response, but he will get back to you I'm sure.

 

trust me he does great work. Well worth every penny and to be able to get what you want without having to do anything.
