Exclamation I need help buying a 2005 TL

I live in St. Louis and I need help in bying a 2005 TL. They are selling one here for 16,995. It has no navigation, 86,668 miles on it a little 3 scratchs on different parts of the car. I don't know if its worth it, the car is spotless on the inside but it has no nav. , spolier, body kit, its a standard TL. and from what i was told "Leta Acura" in st. louis. that i wolud have to get a aftermarket nav. if i want to get that installed. But i want the navigation that came with the standard TL. I don't really know if i should by this car or if anybody knows any good deals or TL's that are for sale 05'.

I bought my '05 for 25,900 - 47K miles, not a scratch, with NAVI.

I would go for one with NAVI - or else you will be sorry later!!

Oh, and before you all say that I got ripped off or something - new tires, new brakes, completely certified from Acura, 100K warranty, Acura TLC, Free XM, etc. They basically made this car new again...and I'm lovin every minute I get to drive it.

you can do better. jus search autotrader cars.com and craigslist.. take your time and wait for a very good deal to pop up. There are many who buy w/o thinkin and end up wanting to trade for a tl with diff options or something of that nature.

Sounds pretty steep to me as well. I bought an '05 SSM 6 speed w/o NAVI in February for $21k. Mileage at the time of purchase was 25,600. Keep looking you can find a better deal.

Warranty is 50,000 miles, so at this point, I don't think the warranty factor comes into play.

Best I can tell it has the suspension. This is my first TL, and the first I have driven. However with the stiffness, and how low the car is I find it hard to believe that the suspension is stock. Correct me if I am wrong, but did 05 TL's not come with 17's? The sticker in my door states that the original tires are 18's, which also leads me to believe that it is an A-SPEC from the factory. FWIW I did not feel that the dealer I got it from knew what they had (purchased from a Ford dealer lol)

Time for a wash!

P.S. If anyone knows how to tell for sure on the suspension let me know.

That is the A-Spec Suspension i think. Looks just as low as mine does.
