Hey guys, im prety new to this thread, long story short, i have had a lo of problems with my NBP type-s...the car has had a lot of parts replaced and now acura is takin care of me after the car has been in the shop for a total of 40 days here and there since I got the car in March...i need to know by tomo morn what accessories I want...

I am thinking def the carbon fiber trim on the inside...

But what else do I ask for? They are paying one month for me and giving me accessories....

I am thinking either the A-spec suspension, or possibly the 18" wheels and tires...

Ask them to cough up a set of 04 A-spec wheels with 255/40/18's on them

 

Im sure they do have a limit and im sure it isnt too extreme, but hell its worth a try to pull anything you can think of out of the deal! Aspec lip kit would be nice!

 

go for the entire a-spec package, suspension, wheels, lip kit, a-spec emblem, window gutter looking guards lol, all season mats and trunk liner, both front and rear cf trims and.... if I missed something add to it, if the stealership will pay for it all, I got dibs on the rear cf trim.... why I added all this stuff, cuz if you dont like you will find a buyer on here for it... in other words if it is on the stearlership steal it from them cuz you can flip it and make a few bux on anything

 

ASPEC WHEELS.. and you want your stocks, if you don't even want the aspecs you can always sell them on here. I would go full aspec (wheels, suspension, body kit) carbon fiber steering wheel, hmm...I could just go on and on here. You should ask them a total dollar ammount for what they are willing to compensate you and go from there

 

I like your plan.

Get the CF trim and the A-Spec Springs. That's pretty reasonable.

However, if they've really reached deep, go for the A-Spec 18" Wheels.

Well they are giving me 1,000 and some accessories...so i think the sky is within reach lol...They want to keep me happy otherwise I get rid of my TL and my 01 CL-S. I just got rid of my 1994 Legend a couple months back...i WAS a big acura fan...not too much now...

Aspec kit sounds good everything else...we'l see...i'll let u know...had a rough night...gonna dream about seeing my car again...

I say get try for the full a-spec suspension and kit too. If they don't go for that, try the suspension and wheels, if that doesn't work take the suspension. Whichever one they give you, contact me afterward so I can check out your ride.

Bottom line is I want to see and ride in a TL-S with A-spec suspension before I do anything to mine. (Selfish motive's I know).

ASPEC RIMS, ASPEC KIT + shock, ASPEC Steering Wheel, CLEAR BRA, TINT !!!!! the list could go ON!

 

Get whatever you want to finish out the look of the car... everyone here has said some good ideas but it really is just what you want...

got my car yesterday, am a little fed up, i was suposed to get new rotors with my new brake pas, but instead they resurfaced them...stupid fools and they forgot to change a seal they broke on my driver side mirrors(ps there was a bulletin on them, if you move them and the squeak the seal is warped.)...and my rear right tail lense has mold growing in it..they are changing that and they forgot to change a blwon speaker...

bottom line...they are going to discuss accessories with me after i drop my ar off next wed morn, only when i am happy will they talk accessories...

what sucks is...it was written on the repair order...when i asked the tech he said he machined them...so i went straight to the service manager and he said he would order them and whatever I wanted so i picked a few mor things...


how different is the aspec lip kit and whats already on the type-s?

ive been a loyal acura customer for a while...

this is my 4th in like 6-7 years

the lemon law stuff wont work because its mostly mechanical...

my issues have been primarily cosmetic and the dealership screwed up quite a bit on repairs, thats why they are cleaning up their own mess...they scratched my car, chipped the overhead light where the sunrof controsl are...they broke my seals on my side mirrors...they scratched the inside dash and shit man
