finished! when i refilled with coolant i heard the water pump making air bubble type sounds, turned the heat on refilled and good to go. nothing makes you feel better than turning the key and it firing right over. smooth.

thanks everyone for the help it made the difference. well, the 1,965 page manual didn't hurt either!

i saved a bunch of cash by not taking it to the dealer. for what they wanted i could have bought a used low mileage engine with a timing belt allready on it!
