UM. Let me get this straight you dont like your stock headlights, that look white. But you do like the way they look wen first turned on, slightly blue?

If your talking about the daytime running lights on the 07-08 TL's. You could swap them out for hid's to get that cool factor.

Im assuming your talking about the DRL's. they are 9005, ebay, amazon, local auto parts store, take your pick. I have nokya hyper yellow ones, I think they were $18 shipped on ebay.

My question is why make a thread? If you dont like them then get HIDs or whatever bulb that will match. We have a vendor link FYI. VLEDS, ebay, etc.

Yellow daytime running lights? Never seen someone put those in for the DRL's.
Either way the OP has me confused on what he's talking about.

I see no problem with the auto feature for our headlights. Turns them on automatically when it starts to get dark, and turns them off when im done driving the car lol. Am I missing something here?

the coolest thing to do is pull the DRL fuse out and not run anything at all.

Were all guessing your "white" your talking about is your amber colored DRL(Daytime Running Light). Your H.I.D(High Intensity Discharge) headlights are white/blue-ish. Here is a link to some light I bought and so has alot of ppl on here. Little 5 Min search next time and you'd have an answer without starting a thread to ask a simple question. I'm new the forum but as i've found (and been told) this, looking helps, sometimes if you cant find what you want go type in what you need in yahoo/google search engine and and type acurazine behind it. ALWAYS pulls up great info!

yes I am talking about the DRL which to me are really annoying. I have a type s and they lights stay on even in the day.

My HIDs turn on when I turn the lights on and I love those but my DRLs are really annoying and I am looking to do some sort of swap to make em look cool cuz they never turn off.

OP, you can also try this method to avoid the ugly DRLs.

Instead of using the auto function, leave your headlight stalk in the ON position. Unlocking the car with your fob turns on your HIDs on and your DRLs never come on. Locking the car with your fob after you park will shut them off.

Just follow this DIY. It's actually quite easy and it still allows you to use your foglamp switch to turn them off if you want. OH, and if you really want some bright ass fogs get some HIR2/9012 bulbs they put out 1875 lumens compared to 1000 lumens from a 9006 bulb.

That will most likely void my warranty. I did search on VLEDs and yeah you're right it is 9005. VLED's has em for like $100, ebay's got em for like less than 20.

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trks...at=0&_from=R40

which one should I get?

That's them alright. Are they better than Nokya? Well, they're not yellow but they're much brighter. My sister drove my car one night 30 miles with just the HIR's on, and she said that they were brighter than her H7 projectors.

Here's some info about HIR bulbs:

Those are pretty interesting, don't think I have ever heard of HIR bulbs before but they sound like they are much better then the nokya's.
