I don't mean to brag about my 07' TLS, BUT......
I had it fully detailed today at Ramsey Acura & it came out above & beyond my expectations, IT LOOKS GREAT! Every nook & cranny is spotless, the paint is smooth & shines. They cleaned the engine, the door jams, the trunk, the interior too. They used a clay bar first, then a light compound, hand wax, buff with machine. All for $171 & gave me a loaner! I used to go to the local car wash, but it never came out this nice & they always charged me $200. I will be going to my dealer from now on for the detail every 6 months.

BTW this is a new professional detailing company the dealer recently hired, my understanding is that 4 employees have a specific job to do on each car and work on it at the same time so nothing is missed.

...in the full sun. If they used a rotary on the car, I'd be terrified of the potential for buffer swirls. Not a single dealership here in the Dallas-Fort Worth area has a single clue how to buff out a car. Brand new Bentleys, Rolls, etc I've had to take rotary swirls out of.
Hope this isn't the case, but I'd look the car over really well in the full sun now and in a few weeks.

I detailed a C Class for a lady who'd had it detailed at the Mercedes dealer. They did nothing to address the terrible spider swirls in the paint and didn't even clean the back of the front seats, her kids foot prints were still all over them. They charged her $200 too.

Fixed enough dealership swirl jobs to know how much they suck at detailing.

dealership detail? this should be good.
I make sure dealerships DON'T wash my car whenever I reluctantly have to go there.
