HO is one of the more expensive ceramic film on the market, can you give us an approximate cost? FYI, someone in the forum had HO installed, but had problems with it, can't say for sure what it was and ended up getting something else. Looking forward to the pix.

I went with 50% becoz I live in philly and cops r bit strict here. I paid $470 (lifetime warrenty). In my eyes thers no bubbles or dirt inside the film now and I heard it needs more time to dry than other films .. I got the installers address from HO, USA. And they (Smokin Moes, Penndel, PA) did it well ..

AFAIK, the problems with HO are not due to the film but with the installer, they should know how to install it properly ..

I'll post pix soon ..

thanx

Just curious but why would you pay $470 for a tint job?

50%?? I thought 35% was too light on my windows.

Post some pics. It sounds like 50% is just like NOT putting tint at all.

A bit costly?? Sounds like a rip off to me. I am getting my car tinted tomorrow wirh 20% high grade film for $70. How do they justify charging you an additional $400??

if you want high quality non-metallic tint, try Formula One (Pinnacle Series)!!!! This is what most people suggested if you have navi and is cheaper than HO! I'll have it put up this Friday!!

for you info guys HUPER OPTIK tint is made for FLAT GLASS (residental glass). It is not construted to heat shrink. Heat shrinking is a method tinters use to mold the tint to the cureavture of the glass. Just my 2 cents since iam a tinter. gggg gunit

I had my TSX in HO 30% (HO is rated differently then other tints), and it was $275. $470 wow even for a slighly bigger car, that alot.

I've been doing some research myself, and HO is considered by many to be one of the very best for your vehicle (at least that's what I've read on various automotive forums on the 'net).

My cost in Denver: $350.

And they DO make a tint specifically for vehicles, just check out their site. .
