Scion tc 5 mt 2007 coup.. 2905 curb weight 161 hp at 6000 rpm... Tl Type s 6mt 08.. (same shit as 07) 286 hp 6200 rpm 3559 lbs......

soo a difference of 654 lbs.. Thats quite a bit... Now... Now your car has like what 130 to the wheels stock maybe like 120? I didn't know turbos give your cars 210 horse power.. That is amazing. Or you said 350 wheel horse power i think.. soo a turbo that gives 230 horses to the wheels.. Dam ..

But you can say the same thing about a lot of cars. Slap a turbo in a TL, and it's the same game again. TL pulls from Turboed TC.

Grant it, it is much cheaper to turbo the TC, but you can Turbo a TL it has been done.

if this guy isn't bsing with his turbo or s/c TC. he will blow your TL away. if hes making even 300 HP to the wheels. he will be in the mid to low 12s zone.

TC WHP is at 140s-150s depends on condition,temp,altitude. if he is tuned with the proper mods i wouldn't be suprised if they can reach 300 WHP.

All this ricer math solves nothing. I've laid out a challenge to the guy and I could care less what his hp and 1/4 times are. There's one way to solve this. Talk is cheap.

For what it's worth 300 at the wheels will not get you anywhere near low 12s on a FWD 3,000lb car. I'm betting that he runs slower than a 15.2...

bra i have way more than just a turbo an im runnin @ 9psi's w a custom intercooler. upgaded injectors,and fuel pump, anual boost controller , greddy emanage. an way more shit. i had it dynoed but never ran tha track. i know tha tc's slow wen stock but wen u put a lil cash innit its like u unleashed a monster.

TC whp at 140-150? I don't think so. They have 160 crank hp stock. There is no way they actually put that much to the wheels. Those numbers are definitely not right.

Cars lose an average of 17% HP due to the drivetrain. That would put you to around 132whp from your scion stock. Unless u have a lot of real work including internals done.....your car is probably still slow. Greddy kits are known to be safe but not produce much HP gain.

We need to boost to beat a car that was aftermarket boosted? Maybe you take that turbo off and we'll run stock for stock. Or how about mod for mod? What do YOU think would respond better? I'm guessing your "330+ WHP" is from adding up the stated gains on all your parts, i.e., 25 HP exhaust, 15 HP intake, 10 HP each sticker.
