How would my ides look?

First of all I think CF hoods are nice, but not on a Luxury car like a TL. They would look good on cars that have a sportier edge. My question is how would a TL look with the hood painted black, if the car was white, silver, or anthresite or any other color besides blkack?
Honest opinions please.

geez that would look weird IMHO
there are certain cars that CF hoods do look good on, but the TL is not one of them
the TL is a luxury sports sedan, think about putting CF hoods on a Bentley or a Rolls LOL

It would look almost the same as CF, until you got up close, don't you think?

...if you want a black hood, get carbon fiber... at least with carbon fiber you have an excuse for an unmatched hood... other than that, you'd might as well just get a two-tone paintjob...

go with carbon fiber ehancements, like a hood/trunk/spoiler, or two tone paint job...

I like the carbon fiber enhancement idea...on certain colors obviously. Comptech has a red TL that they do all their R&D on...they have a carbon fiber hood on it and I dont really like the looks of it. My friends 04 M3 has front lip carbon fiber attatchments which look nice, and I believe some on the rear would look good as well. If you do subtle enhancements it might look nice.
To address the question of a black hood on a white or red TL...it really would look like the car was crashed and just waiting for a new paint job. It wouldnt look good at all. Also, with the TL you put all the money into it, keep it all the same color.

you're definetly gonna give up the luxurious factor in your car if you add the CF hood. But it looks damn sexy for a sports car.

BTW..whatis the under lip on the front of the car? Why is there two strings holding it?

I believe that lip is some sort of wind deflector to add downforce when running at high speeds.
