How well does wood grain shift knob match interior

Hey guys, I was looking to buy a OEM TL wood grain shift knob. Was curious if anyone has it how well it matches the woodgrain inside of the car, from some of the pics I have seen, it looks much darker. If anyone has one can you tell me how it looks or provide a picture. thanks

If anything it's a bit darker than the existing wood trim, mostly because it's brand new and the dash pieces have gotten baked by the sun and such.

My only gripe is that even when it's twisted all the way down, some threads from the shift "pole" are still visible. Besides that I love it.

I was using the wood shift knob when I had the wood steering wheel in my 05 but I took it out when I got the ASPEC steering wheel installed and put the regular black knob back in.

I did like the wood knob when it was in. I agree with others, it is darker than the wood already in the car.

Does anyone else's knob not screw all the way down? I can see a few threads and it won't go down anymore

Not a huge fan of the knob or the wood grain in our cars.

Most of us go for the sporty look on the exterior so the wood grain IMO doesn't flow well.

I think the CF Di-noc vinyl looks amazing in our cars, especially in parchment interiors.

Best option I think is to cover all the wood with the vinyl and get the TYPE-S shift knob.

Beautiful.

I sort of wish I had the CF trim but I feel like everyone has it.
