How To Take off Shiftknob?

can someone point me in the right direction, i searched but couldn't find anything, i recently ordered a new shift knob and want to replace it, this is for an Automatic, so any help would be great thanks a bunch

Well I dont know why you would want to replace it with a shift nob.

Just unscrew it.

Well technically speaking you are unscrewing the car. So open the sun roof, attatch a long pole to a clap, attatch taht to the shift nob, attatch the pole to the cieling, put the car on a turntable, and vuala.

It screws on and off, but it takes a lot, repeat a lot, of effort to get it unscrewed. It feels like the rod will break, but everyone says it won't and the knob will eventually start to turn and will come off, and then you just do it in reverse to get the new one on.

I have the exact same shift knob in my car! Nice choice!!! You know There are two hight settings for the internal threads I have mine set lower like a short shifter

how is the weight of the shiftknob? does it feel good or is it light?

also how much did u pay for urs.....

and what are u over all thoughts about it, would u have gotten a different one?
