At the RonJon meet, I bought the silver CF shift knob that Excelerate was selling. Matches the interior nicely. Just not the tranny...






What you think?

Its a lot lower than stock and has a nice heavy feel to it.

5 speed i think regular CF woulda looked better

i don't see how that matches the interior at all. it looks more white than silver (unless it's the flash causing that). even still, it sticks out like a sore thumb.


and yeah, '07 type-s knob matches almost perfectly

The flash is making it white.. Its really silver and matched the silver trim.

As far as the 5 speed logo, thats going away soon, wet sanding and polishing. Maybe clear coating..

 

If the interior trim was silver carbon fiber it would look good.

But it really looks out of place in my opinion.

 

yea get rid of the "5 speed". it's def different but i like the tl knob better.

 

here's some pics of mine (pics taken from a current ebay auction) It blends well with the interior. Maybe I'll take some pics of it in the car this weekend when I go to my parents' house.
