How to remove Map Light bulbs?

So I'm trying to replace my factory light bulbs with LED's and I can't seem to remove the bulbs in the map lights. I took the plastic lens off and pulled the bulb but it doesn't budge? I'm pretty sure it doesn't twist and I'm a little afraid of breaking the bulb. Anyone know an easy way on taking it out?
Thanks!

wrap a piece of tape around it in order to form a handle to grab on to, then pull. This should work for ya

Yup the above worked for me. Regular Scotch tape works just fine, just make sure its long enough for it to tape around the bulb and form a little handle for you to pull on.

Amazing what scotch tape is used for............

I used the same thing doing my license plate LED's and those pulled straight down. Works like a charm (do charms really work?).

No, I believe he's talking about the large map lights in front of those ambient lights.

like LoveMyTL-S said, those blue lights are LEDs and are not the map lights, they are just to set the mood
