How often do you change your oil & filter?
So our beloved TLs have an intelligent computer that tells us when to change our oil....
How many of us follow it's recommendations and wait until the MID says so?
Do we follow Acura recommendations to a "T" and only change the filter only with "Service B" (about every other oil change)? I figure for most people, a Service B will show up between 7,500-15,000 mi. If you ask me, Honda uses a microscopic oil filter that looks like 1/2 of a can of Coke. I'd rather spend an extra $5 to change the filter with EVERY oil change.
OR....do you change your oil and filter every 3,000 miles because you were raised that way, your dealer/mechanic tells you it's the right thing to do, you like to pollute the environment, or you want to help put your mechanic's kids through college?

I plan on using mobil one after my free oil changes and going at lest 6 to 7k before changes maybe longer. there have been tests done with mobil one that went 17k and still looked pretty good with testing so I think its safe to go 7k wiyh no problems. Also there is an oil called amsoil that is good for 35k or one year and they will cover your engine if it has any oil related problems
