How much would an 04 TL with 85,000+ miles be worth?

Newbie here but i have been visiting and searching around this site for some time now. Anyway, i'm interested in getting myself a 3rd generation Acura TL. I dont really care what year it is (04-08) as long as the price seems good. I looked around and i found an 05 TL with 55,060 miles for only $6,000. This was an individual seller but i also noticed that dealers have prices like 13,999+ for an 04 with more than 85,000 miles. My question is, how much is an 04 TL with about 85,000 miles worth?

Thanks

05 with 55k should be ~15-17k depending on options. The 04 with 85k miles can be found for 9-13k. Just remember, the closer you are to 100k you will need ~700-1500 for the service of timing belt and such.

So the 05 TL i found for $6000 was a great deal. I sent that person an email with some questions but he/she never responded. After a couple of days the car was gone from the listings

Am I the only one who read this? That should be anywhere from $14K-16K depending on specs and condition.

It wasnt craigslist with the listing for the 05 TL. It was listed on my states auto listings site. Maybe it could have been fake but i wont ever know anyway since its gone.

Don't feel like you missed out on a great deal. I can almost guarantee you it was fake. They target our local selling website all the time. Car is not local, it's located in "fill in the blank" state. I'm highly motivated to sell, etc. Oddly enough there is never any contact info other than email address. Listing goes up for about 8 hrs and then it's removed. One word....scam!
