How much to trade 06 TL for 328xi
I just realized that BMW makes a 328xi Coupe and it looks really good. One of the main reasons I went with the TL was b/c I didnt want a rear wheel drive car. Living in Jersey we get some snow and rear wheel drive is real shitty.
I know some of you have traded in a TL for another TL. How bad did you guys get ripped off? The sticker on a 328xi is about 44,000. How much do you think they will give me for a 06 TL with 20k miles.
The tl is sick though so i probably wont do it

Have you considered the 07 G35x?
I presume you had specific reasons for buying a sedan (your TL), so I am a little suprised that you want to go from a sedan to a coupe in so little time. Have you considered the 07 G35x sedan? It is AWD with RWD bias on dry roads. The 07 is a new model year with a beautiful new exterior and totally redone interior.

Give this some real serious thought before you take the plunge. My wife had a '98 328i, which is the reason she now has an '05 TL.. that and over $8000 in maintenance costs for the 328i. BMWs are not inexpensive to own. And as others have pointed out, the TL beats the 3-series in room and some other niceties.

06 TL 6spd. Navi/A-spec
I wouldnt do it either, BMW's arent that great of vehicles they are in the shop more than they are driven! I work at a honda/Bmw dealership as a tech and all i see are bmw's getting towed in which are all new vehicles you will rarely see a honda on a tow truck and even the technicians say the reason they work for BMW is because they always have business because they break all the time. This is just my opinion but i would rather drive and acura any day!

I'm sure 99% of the people here could afford a BMW but we all realize that you can get so much more for your money.
But Im sorry guys, this needs to be in Car Talk.
Since I cant move threads across the major forums feel free to continue this debate over there...
