If you want it cheap, and I mean <$50 cheap, just get a bottle of the Acura touch up paint and fill it in yourself.

I'm not sure about the cost of sending it in to get it done professionally...

I got an estimate in Colorado Springs to repaint my front bumper, complete sand and repaint, same WDP as you, for $295.

repair and respray...depends on where you are and what type a shop you use (high end vs. eh type of shop).

in my area...repair and respray done right....$5-600.

if you bought a new bumper cover and then took it to a shop to paint it might be $3-400, add price of bumper $250-300 (find vendor on AZ for actual pricing).

i know a new rear bumper and spray is $700. repair and respray is over $600.

don't cheapen it by doing the touch up paint route. the area is too large for that type of repair. might work for something the size of a coin. plus the "scrapes" look like they go into the face of the bumper, you're better off getting a new bumper cover and getting it painted. you can save on some labor if you install yourself.

WDP is a pain to re paint. it will never match 100%. its basically always gonna show that there was cosmetic damage. Also, its a pearl white, so u r pretty much gonna have mis matched bumpers

Also depends on who you know. A friend of mine will paint a bumper for $150 alone. Although if you want it to be blended in with the surrounding quarter panels to match the price obviously increases.

If you need it, I've got a rear bumper cover for sale, ready to be painted. Would be cheaper than having the damage repaired, even though you will still need to have this cover painted WDP.

I would repaint it wit some sanding.
The real trick to DIY body painting is to keep the paint thin w
thinner and several coats.
Bumper stickers are another cheap fast fix.

True I have seen WDP mismatch but not as bad as SSM; now that is the worst one.

OP - you should shop around your local body shops to get a qoute.

It looks like you have a lot going on there; Aspec body kit, damaged bumper cover and a couple of scrapes on the rear quarter panel. You will have to remove and separate the body kit from the bumper cover, prep and paint both -- repair the damage to the rear quarter panel -- and blend the paint to match overall and reassemble.

This repair could be pricey, and possibly an insurance claim depending on your deductable. Anyway, in my opinion it's a job for professionals so get estimates.

^^^

Not bad. I would say that you can have the damage fixed for about $500. So you're $1000 ahead. What's the rest of the car look like? Year and miles?

I would pull the Carfax. A clean title does not mean that the car was not in accidents in the past.

^and a carfax won't always show that either. people don't always go through insurance for damages. i think a clean carfax is a false sense of security.

i bought my 07 NBP TL-S with a clean carfax, only to find out the rear bumper had been replaced with a red one and painted black at some point. (not OEM part either)

Professionally done, it can match 100% but you will pay for it.

Go to a acura dealership and spot the guy who does touchup paint to all the cars....

talk to him and get a quote....

I know a member in KS got his rear bumper done for $100-150....that was to paint the bumper and the lip.....

If it drives good and you like it, to me it sounds like a good deal. So you're right about 1,500 ahead, you can get the repairs done for a good price. It just depends on how well you shop around. so shop around for prices and quotes .
