I thought this question appropriate as people always so, oh, we done want a supercharger, too much power at the front wheels, etc, etc. I saw on TV a bunch of hondas and other imported FWDs on the drag strip putting down over 1k HP with 50lbs of boost and nitro fuel go down perfectly straight. Shouldnt the alleged torque steer be coming into play?

Perhaps they had locking differentials. Torque steer comes from one wheel getting more torque than the other. With a locking diff, they'd get the same. I may be off-base, though, as I'm only assuming these things.

but........ only the TL has a somewhat functional locking diff. and the auto has none....... but if your hands are straight on the wheel, you will dont think torque steer will hav an affect except you will feel the tug of it
