How much for my TL?
How much for my TL?
I have a TL06 WDP base with 115k miles on it. Timing belt, water pump and everything related to that was changed at 106k miles at acura dealer. I have a Atom 330 carpc with a Lilliput 629 touchscreen monitor. Aftermarket sound system with stock radio; two crunch amps and 4 audiopipe speakers and a kicker sub. Ipod usa spec connector. Centrafuse 2.1 with iguidance and GMPC, windows 7, 500GB hard drive, 2GB ram, m3 power supply, and an external dvd burner/drive. AEM V2 intake. Transmission oil drain and refill trick done and the sensors too. In another words, the car runs perfectly fine with no problems at all. How much would you pay for it? I am thinking asking 14k for it. It has always been garaged and well kept.
You are better off returning the car to stock, and just parting out the mods. They don't add to the resale value of the car, and you'd essentially be giving them away.
You can try for $14k, the biggest problem you are going to have is finding somebody who is willing to spend that much for a car with 115k miles on it. That's pretty high for a 2006.
My 2 cents.

It really depends on how desperate you are.
As others said, the mileage is one of the major factors. Check out ebay, cars.com, and autobytel for more realistic numbers.

I have over a year to sell the car so I am in no rush at all. cars.com shows 06 tl for cheaper with less miles but then again they might not be in great condition which mine is but I would let the buyer's mechanic make that call.

what? the dealer pays more? I have an '04 TL with 100,600 miles on it with brand new OEM tires and rims, all stock. I'm going to do the 105k service very soon. How much do you think the dealership would give me? Private? And if my car technically belongs to the bank (I make monthly payments), how would I go about selling the car? I've always wondered about this.
