Take a look and see if that information can't help you.

For what it is worth - I just "inked" a deal as follows:
$1300 off MSRP plus protection package (wheel locks, splash guards, trunk tray & all season mats) for free.
Vehicle - 04 TL 6MT with Navi - car must be orderd
Any thoughts?

That's an excellent deal. When do you expect the car to come in?
I wasn't aware that the all season mats were part of the protection package?

I went looking last weekend which was also the last weekend of the month. I was offered $1620 off MSRP for a non- navigation if i would take delivery before the end of the month. I really wanted the navigation, but none were on the lot. I ordered a SSM/Ebony/Nav and got $1250 off, pro package (locks, splash guards, and trunk tray), and first oil change. I will order the all season mats online. The car is due in right around Christmas!! What a great gift idea!

Lore - It took about 3 weeks to put together, but it has been time well spent. It will be in the end of January, unless they do a dealer trade before then.
I do not think the mats are part of the Pro Package however they were included in my deal.

If something is wrong at delivery, I would have a problem. i.e., flying back home, staying overnight, etc.

I figure the 1400 mile return trip would be great to test out the Nav and help break the car in!
TIA for any help! You can PM me off list as well.

I finally got mine.
I have posted this on another thread as well. Just my way of sharing some good information for my friends here on the site. Had a great experience at South Bay (Power) Acura in Torrance, CA. MSRP less $1K and the protection pack. at no charge. In addition I got the extended Acura care 7/100K $0 deduct. and Lo Jack lifetime for $1120 and $465 respectively. I am very satisfied with my deal. Anthrocite/Quartz/5AT/Nav. Ask for Brian Alegado (salesman) or Joey (sales mgr.) and tell them Bruce sent you. They have promised to give the same deal to my referals. Truely pleasant. Granted I paid cash so didn't get into the finance traps but I suspect they would be good there as well. Feel free to e-mail me for additional info. if interested. I am posting a pic in case there is any doubt among you all. By the way when I test drove the car I fell in love with it. Now actually driving my own, it goes far beyond that feeling. A great machine.

I just put a deposit down at Stevens Creek Acura today for an 5AT Anthracite/Ebony + Navi. I will be getting the protection package + mats with them for the price I negotiated. I am hesitant to mention the price just yet since I haven't really signed any paperwork, but it's pretty decent (almost as good as Airdog's).
Now I have to decide whether I want the one that comes in ~ Dec 18 (thus foregoing the possible fixes -- vibration and seat memory loss -- that Acura may have for the vehicle) or wait patiently for the one being built Dec 20-24 (coming in ~ Jan 15).
I figure if I get it the earlier date I'll have a fun vehicle to play with while I'm on vacation from work... that's worth it, right? I need some convincing, folks.
Any thoughts on the matter?

Personally if I was certain of the fixes coming down the road, I'd wait. I personally am also concerned about the crappy paint job I've seen on almost every TL. Whoever is doing QC for paint is doing a terrible job with quality control.
It was so obvious on an Anthracite TL today that even my wife noticed it! Big chunks of dirt in the paint right by the driver side passenger door near the molding. She calmly remarked to me "So this is what you mean by the crappy paint on the TL?" I hope they get their paint work together before I get my car or I'll be hounding the dealer to death.
From what I understand they still don't have a fix on the dealer level for the memory seats. I just hate taking a new car back to the dealer for stuff that should have been right from the start.

Based on the information we've all received from acuraddict, it sounds like Acura is working on that 50mph vibration problem, which I *think* I noticed during my long 50 minute test drive today on the freeway. (It was very difficult to slow to 50mph though, everyone was zooming by me!)
That said, with my deposit down, I am going to follow acuraddict's postings re: this upcoming fix to see if I can't take advantage of it as soon as possible. If my car becomes available and I still cannot get it fixed, I might just wait for January.
What also kind of upsets me is the dealers not knowing ANYTHING about the problems that are mentioned on this board. Are they simply playing dumb or do they really not know? They've never heard of the leather seat stretching problem, the vibration problem, the seat memory loss problem, the paint job problem, etc...

$35,400, includes destination, before tax & fees. NAVI, 5AT, Aero kit, Wing spoiler, trunk tray & wheel locks. Demo car, 3034 mi. Picked up 11/29. Was offered $34,000 for brand new TL w/ NAVI, but did not have Anthracite in stock, 2 coming in 12/03, but already reserved, so I either have to wait till at least 1/04 for color I want or take the demo car with exactly what I wanted & the extras already installed. I also contacted 2 other dealers further away in N. NJ, basically no discounts. Got this deal from closest dealer because I was repeat customer. Love to hear any comments on this deal.

Shortage of NAVI's drive NAVI price up?
Seems that NAVI's have been underproduced. Or is it just around here. Can get ANYTHING without NAVI but NOTHING WITH it. Therefore I paid (or more exactly have agreed to pay) pretty close to sticker. Only got $400 off Black-on-Black with NAVI (Lst one in area for the next four weeks). I called EVERY dealer in NC and none had any NAVI's.

Ok - First, without sending me to do a search, what is the bottom line on the 50 mph vibration? Did they figure out the problem?
Second - how did they solve the memory seat problem?
Thirdly - I pick mine up next week, so is there any other major problems constantly found out side of "fit & finish" issues?

I hesitated signing the papers last Friday, and said I might wait until spring since they had to order it anyway. In turn the dealer offered to do a dealer trade in order to make the deal happen now. And they kept the original terms as stated above.
I think these guys want to move more units than what we are lead to believe.

Frankly, I have no idea what the fix will be for the 50mph vibration problem or the seat memory loss problem. We're all waiting for acuraddict to say something or another about the former.
Congrats on inking your deal! Which dealer was this at?
