this is the type of deal i'm trying to get. my uncle knows the owner of the dealership, and my dad buys all his company trucks from one salesman so he is one good terms. i'm hoping to get an 07 TL NBP NAVI 42K for 21,000 + fees. is this totally unreasonable?

I bought my 04 non-nav with 10,000 miles in December of 2006 for 28,900. Compared to what they are going for now (2006 models with similar mileage and navi about $25000 - heck I have seen some decent 07 type S models for $26000) I feel like I got a bit ripped, but I havent had one major issue. She has about 42000 miles on her now.

2008 TL non-navi certified preowned 28k mi for $22,900.
Bought Dec 30, 2009, they were trying to get it out by the end of the year so they lowered it like $5k during the last week of the year. couldn't get them to budge from their advertised $22,900 but the salesman eventually gave me $100 cash for dinner since I told him I wanted to feel like I won something in the negotiation...

Ryan's loving his ATLP TL
I bought mine in 2008. I had a 2002 Toyota Avalon XLS, beautiful car, just a little too far from my age group. It's classified as and older person's car. So I looked one night as I was on the night shift of one of my older job. And I noticed they were selling two TL's. One silver, basic with no Navi and was in an accident prior on it's history report. So that was selling cheaper. Or get a nice black TL with Navigation with a tad more miles (70K). They were selling it for $22,000. So I test drove the black one and never looked at the other. I got them down to $20,000. Then traded in my Avalon for $7200 and financed the rest and got it for about 12K but financed it to 14. here I am only owing $2,000 on the car. It'll be paid off by the summer. Now I have 103K and runs great! Modded her up a little and I have a very fun car now. Not too bad. But i've seen better buys...

I have my 2007 A-SPEC WDP NAVI for sale now with 36K miles for $23,200 in the for sale section. It has a transferrable Acura certified 100K powertrain warranty and 62K on the bumper to bumper to the next owner.
I looked on AutoTrader and Cars.com and my car is the lowest priced NAV car within 100 miles of Chicago with those miles and on top of it the car has a full A-SPEC kit which was dealer installed that adds $5K to the price of the car.

06' TL 88mi, w/ Navi $14,995
Tinted windows, black leather int and a missing owners manual and navi code that still needs to be found and input! & A Cd player that decided when it wants to play a cd...Starting to wonder about if I actually got a deal yet or not? Darn used dealerships!
