Re: How Much?

How much prior to the Tax? That's the number we should talk about.

What dealership did you purchase your car from? I live in Washington DC and I was thinking about traveling to NY in order to get a good deal on the car.

Pardon me for being skeptical, but this is the best deal I have ever heard of on this forum. $33,800 for a car with navi seems silly when they are on back order, and with the accessories thrown in it makes it an unbelievably good deal. I may fly across the country and buy from this dealer if I can get the same deal.

But the money you spend on the airfare will equal it out, not to mention the driving time, gasoline, and room and board along the drive back!

In Northern California, most dealers are discounting at most $500 off. Stevens Creek Acura, being the #1 volume dealer up here, is discounting $1000 off without much argument, but only if throw down a deposit.

marquis:

That is great price! Let us know when you get it -- and show us pics! I don't think I've seen a single pic of a TL in the Anthracite w/ Ebony on this site.

I'll second what Lore said, that is a pretty kick a** price on a Navi TL!! That's the exact color combo I want but would prefer a 6MT but I'm still drooling...however, I must wait another month....counting the days.

Lore and tripp11.

Thanks for the kudos. I'll post some pics tomorrow after I take delivery.

trippp, good luck with the wait. I've been sitting on pins and needles myself and have been estactic since I heard the other day that I'd be getting my TL a few weeks early.

BTW, I'm getting this deal in New England (Rhode Island to be exact...I live in southern MA). If anyone wants to know where and from whom, just say the word.

Rhode Runner,

Got mine at Inskip in Warwick RI. Sales guy was Seth Bryand. He's new, only been there a month or two and this is his first sales job. So he didn't know the car all that well, but that didn't matter to me all that much since I pretty much knew the car myself already . But given that he was so new, I think it helped my experience there. He was responsive and tried to be helpful after I left the dealership.

After trying all the MD/DC/VA dealerships, I took someone's advice in this forum and called Tom Curley (973-239-7500) at Montclair Acura in NJ. I thought for sure he would charge MSRP and then some! But, as others have said, he is one of the nicest salesmen I have ever dealt with.

I may rent a car or take a train up there. Tom offer to pick me up at the train station if I took a train up there. Even with that, I'm still saving some money. Down here, the best offer I received was from Rosenthal. They wanted MSRP for the TL w/NAVI and they would install the options at cost instead of retail.

I would highly recommend Tom. If you do a search for Montclair Acura on this forum, you'll see others recommending Tom!

Good Luck!

Mark

I meant the dealer that the person bought from in MD. It is closer to buy in MD for me than NJ. But if I don't get the name/number in two days than I'm just going to order my An/Qu 5AT Navi from Tom.
