The gaps in the four corners - there is a DIY fix for the problem in the 3G garage, but how many of you had the problem?

 

I have gaps all over the car, but it doesn't bother me that much and its way too cold out to even try to fix them cause I know once I put the new tape on it will come right apart in the below freezing weather. So I guess I'm stuck with gaps for the rest of this winter.

 

Had the gaps for the front and rear kits only. Brought it back to Acura and it is all good now!!!

 

I have a 2nd gen, and I have gaps in the rear corners...

There are no adjustments on the brackets, so there isn't a lot that I can do... I have seen other 2nd gen cars with kits, and the tolerences vary (but I think mine has larger gaps than others)...

I am thinking about tweaking the metal brackets with needle nose plyers to change the mounting position of the kit... But have not found the time yet...

 

i have gaps in the front, went to get new tapes, now i have a gap on 1 side of the front only, i'll just leave it like it is, its only a car

 

I recently went to my local Acura dealership and ordered and had them install the body kit, minus the wing. The sides were fine, however, the front and rear had body gaps big enough to see my hand through the other side. They are going to fix it next week, let's see what is going to happen.

 

any material will shrink and expand from summer to winter, thats just physics. however, if the double sided tape gets too much moisture, it will sart to open up some gaps. My old kit had a few gaps in the summer, and everything tightened up in the winter.
