Question Heated steering wheel for TL

I had forgotten how cold it gets, and how much i'd actually want a heated steering wheel. There are far more knowledgeable folks on this board--is it possible to get a heated steering wheel for the TL. Yes, i know that the G35 and Maxima have them, so spare me that comment.

Anybody know whether it's possible to get a heated steering wheel?

Just did a google search -- no dice. I haven't heard (and I have looked) of an aftermarket heated steering wheel system. I'd be very interested to get one if possible.

It would be nice if the radio buttons were also heated/cooled.

I would really love it if the keyless entry fob was heated. It's a real bitch on those cold mornings to use a cold keyfob.

WTF?

For those who never used or owned a car with heated steering wheel, you don't know what you are missing on freezingly cold winter mornings.

Heck, using your arguments, why bother having power windows when you can roll them down manually? Why spend more money on a nice car when you can have a Civic (no offense to Civic owners)? Why waste your money on a car when you can walk and exercise ....?

Get some heated Motorcycle gloves, they plug right into the accessory plug and stay warm when you leave the car

Please, tell me that you've created this using Photoshop! You couldn't have desacrated the TL this way!

Heating steering wheel wouldv'e been real nice. I leave for school early in the morning, and within 15 minutes, my fingers go numb because of the cold steering wheel. Ebony interior gets the coldest as well as the hotest, but i still love it.

This is a temporary desecration. These beautiful (ugh!!) covers are available at any auto parts stores and slip on and off easily. Might not be a bad idea to put one on in the morning until the car warms up and then, for god's sake, get rid of it.

Heated steering wheel is great

The Maxima Heated steering wheel and power fold in side mirrors are fabulous.
If you don't see value to that steering wheel you must live in the south and if you don't see value in the power fold in side mirrors then you do not park in parking lots.

I still love my TL but every time I drive the wife's Maxima I say wow to the heated steering wheel and the power fold-in side view mirrors.

A heated steering wheel would be nice, but like someone else said, just wear gloves until the car warms up. I would rather they put heated seats in the back than put a heated steering wheel. Seems silly to warm one passenger's butt but not the others'.

I would rather have a heated steering wheel than heated seats. My butt warms up faster than my fingers. I have tried gloves, but they make me feel like I have less control. Not to mention they make it hard to change radio, temp control, etc..

You can manage all that stuff with voice control. You don't need to let your fingers do the walking; they can stay in your gloves all warm and cozy.
