Anyone have over 60k on their odometer or anytime soon? I have couple of car aging questions.

1. Air bag lines visible on passenger dash. Does it get worse as time goes?
2. 5AT shift getting harsh. Is this still problem on 3rd gen trannies? Any early failure sympthoms?
3. What other maintenence did you have to do other than A and B services?
4. Rotor warping. Anyone got warper rotor?
5. Aging leather. I think biggest problem spot is left thigh of driver's seat. Any other problemetic spots?

 

Hmm I have 7k on the clock so I'll let you know if I own the car when it gets that far!

 

I have 68K and the car is doing well!

1. Air bag lines are slightly visible......This is not a big deal for me
2. No Problems with the tranny, I can the fluid every 20K.
3. I do all my own maintenence. oil, air filter, cab. filter. Still on orginal brake pads.
4. No warping on the roters.
5. Aging of theleather is very minor on the driver's side only. The rest of the car is fine.

I'm at 38,000 as well and mostly, everything is fine.

I am getting a high pitched whine when I accelerate though. I guess its more like a whistle sound. Kinda of sounds like a turbocharger. The sound is not present in 3rd to 5th gears. Only on a start from stop or coasting in 2nd.

Anyone else getting this? I just changed the air filter a few minutes ago and will drive home listening for the sound. I'm hoping that this was the problem. If not, time to make an appointment so that I can take care of this under warranty.

The leather on the driver side is the only one thats looking beat up. Time for some more lexol.

No airbag line on my steering wheel. Everything else is on the up and up.

the car color is SSM and the interior is gray.
