TL-SHAWD 6MT Rocks!
Bought my 04 Anthracite TL 6MT+ NAV on Nov 2003
48,650 miles (4 months in body shop, otherwise I would have 60k, Houston is big!)
It's almost out of warranty, dealer wants $1300 to extend to 100k miles...
thinking of getting a new MB SLK 350
TL still drives like day 1! - perfect.
100 miles a day (just going to work)

Go for the SLK 350! 258HP 6 sp MT or 7 sp Auto.

Sorry, w1n, you don't win anymore.
I'll be at 50k in about another six months at my current rate of use (around 20k miles/year). I may be either looking at a trade myself then, or will just buy the extended warranty. If the car is in decent shape, the extended warranty is cheaper than another down payment for a new car for me.XP...why did you even buy a TL if you don't drive it? j/k

I go to Orlando at least once a month. I had an S60 Volvo last time but the TL would be a much better tourer, IMO.

Keep Right Except to Pass
Purchased on August 20, 2004, with about 8 miles on the odometer. Just hit 14,000 on Monday. Have not had any major road trips; several trips back and forth to Charlottesville, a trip to Seven Springs (PA) to go skiing, and a trip to Philadelphia and Atlantic City. Taking it to Florida over Thanksgiving, but via the Auto Train. First REAL major road trip is going to be in January when we will be driving it up to Mont Tremblant.

have you checked out http://www.curryacuracare.com/ ? i took their price to a local dealer and they'll match it. it's a couple of $$ less than $1300, unless you rounded up. i'll probably get it when i'm real close to 50K which i'll reach before x-mas

7-21-2005, I have 3550 on it. I just put her in the garage. I' think I'll be driving my beater for awhile-a 1990 Audi 90. I can't believe how many miles I put on the TL so far!!

Hi All: I took delivery of my 05 SSM/Q/Navi Nov 24,2004 and I have 2,412 miles on her. Granted my commute time is only 10 minutes. But I have taken her out on a road trip to the Seattle area a couple of times
