I fill up once a week. Usually get around 280-300. 60 city/40 highway.

 

15 gallons is needed when running the needle down to just about where the light comes on....usually it's more between 12.5 and 14.7. From what I understand when the light comes on you're still pretty far from empty so we're good.

 

^^^ from my experiment:

17.2 gallons fuel tank capacity
when light comes on slightly more than 3 gallons left
when the range goes to 0, slightly under 2 gallons left

so if you fill up when the light comes on, your more likely to fill 14-15 gallons....

Most of the time I used chevron which gives me around 305...

i get 21mpg.... every time i fill up i tell myself that i'm going to try to get better mpg, and then i get on the road and WOT

so, 21mpg it is... and has been since i got it

I'm lucky to get 250. I usually average 230-250 @ 100% city driving, always fighting stop and go traffic in my '08 6MT TL-S.

 

I get about 250/tank city driving.
