Im getting worried about my trans- how many of you guys had problems and had to replace?
is there some kind of recall for the trans?

 

their is no current recall for the 04-08 auto trans.
i personally have done 6 in the last 11 months.
and Monday im doing my first 05 RL which i have yet to see fail but things happen

 

I have an 04 - no problems yet and I have 68k on it, I believe there was a recall on the 2nd gen trans...but i could be wrong.

ask for a recall check

Im gen2 and we got a `recall` to install external oil kit on auto trans- I thought some 04 were part of that???
and we got a court case ordered `trans warranty extension` to 7 years+9 months/109k miles!
