How long did you wait?
I tried searching for this but nothing came up. I wanted to know how long did you guys have to wait for your TL to come after you finalized the deal? I am interested in the 2005 TL and am wondering if it'll take a long time. SSM/Ebony/5AT w/ NAV is my choice right now. Thanks!

Two weeks for me. They are getting mine from an out of state dealer. I pick it up Saturday and I put the order in/money down two weeks ago Saturday. They should be able to locate yours at another dealer, too.

Depends on lots of things. Best source is the dealer that you choose. I waited two weeks of the four weeks quoted then saw a color I liked as well in stock and bought it at once.
Your dealer should have a production schedule for the different color combos and the production weeks. Should be no problem sharing this info. The other choice is an attempt at dealer trading. Good luck.

UUMMMM...... about 3yrs.
purchased an `03 TL-s in May of 2002.
Then summer of 2002 caught a glimse of the 2004 concept and

Sold the 2003 and 2 day later driving `05 SSM

2 weeks and counting
I placed my order with the dealer at the end of January. The TL Navi GB (Anthracite/Ebony) is hard to find in SoCal. Expected to arrive from the factory before the end of the month, maybe in 1 more week.

I waited about a week for an ABP/camel auto w/navi. Took the dealer a couple of days to locate car & get it delivered & a couple more for additional work to be done. Sounds like your car should be farily common in production. Wouldnt think you'd have to wait for a factory special order.

Paid down payment of $200 on 2/8, was told that it was coming from the factory and it's "expected" to be here sometime late next week. ABP/Camel...so am wondering if that is a much less available color combo. Will provide an update when I finally take onwership.

Same evening I finalized price w/the internet sales manager I walked in and drove the car home. Had car on the lot exactly how I wanted and didn't want them to even wash it (you Autopians know what I mean). Got them to throw all season mats and a trunk tray in it and it was good to go.

Just bought mine last Saturday (with AT and Nav system). The dealer had a great selection on the lot, and I drove it home a few hours later. We live in a Northern Virginia suburb of DC and I think the demand for any upscale car is high here, so they try to keep their inventories well-stocked. Either that, or I was just lucky!

20 days once I signed. It had to be built and then delivered. It might have been sooner but was the time we have the big snow storm in NJ which delayed it a few days. Very impressed that they could build it and ship it that soon. Bought RRP/Parch AT w/navi
