how long can I have battery disconnected

Hey guys I need urgent help. I'm in a shop right now getting fogs put in and they had to disconnect my battery. I know where my codes are but how long can the battery be disconnected before the nav/radio loses its memory and I have to reinsert codes, addresses, and my saved phone numbers on my HFL.

As soon as you cut the power it resets and locks.

I though that there was a 2 minute window where you wouldn't need to enter the code... I've pulled fuse 32 for the radio a few times and put it back in a minute later and I didn't need to put in the code...

if you disconnect the battery, the memory items shouldn't be erased...

You can buy a memory saver. It connects to your OBDII port and keep power to the car so it doesn't lose its ecu settings, radio, navi codes ect..

It's connected or part of a battery pack which has a OBDII connector the wire end.

Something like this

You won't lose your HFL stuff.

Just need Radio and Navi codes and the ECU will reset.

Im gen2 so may get certain things wrong on 3s- sorry

I thought I read here that the seat memory will need to be reset,
Since the brains to everything are on the car and battery powered-
not IN the remote~

Let us know for sure, or one of you look in the owner book
