Great Post buddy!!! Can you tell me the make and model# for the Front/rear and door bulbs if you have them. I am interested in putting White for the front/rear and blue for the doors. Is the front and rear bulbs the same bulbs??? Thanks!! Rep points for ya!!!
www.superbrightleds.com has a bulb fitment link on their site. It links you to the Sylvania Bulb site where you enter your car information and the results for your car are displayed. Very helpful site/link!

Ihave both the blue and white 9LEDs for the cabin and yes, I know even the blue ones are brighter than the stock bulbs. I've been running them for about 8 months now with no problems. The guy at tec-toyz is great to deal with.

Does anyone know if there is a spec sheet where it lists all the different part numbers (i.e. the bulb numbers)?

I prefer PIAA, also. Where did you order your bulbs from? On the PIAA web site, 8 bulbs cost $100. Did you have a promotion code? Also, wouldn't it have been 10 bulbs with the vanity mirror lights? One more thing, how different is the brightness in the Blue and the Blue/White? I was trying to deside if Blue would be too dark for the rear ceiling. Thanks, SHIPMATE (HOO RAH)!

I ordered 4 from Tec-toyz and put them all in the front.

In my opinion, they are "OK" bright. I think it feels dimmer than yellow bulb because of color. I'm planning on installing more for license plate and rear passenger.

Anyone have any problems with the Tech-Toyz leds? I have the 6 led blues in my doors and rear interior, 6 led whites in my maps, and 9 led whites for my license plate. The interior are all fine so far, but both license plate lights have "blinked" out the other day when i shut the trunk lid. The one bulb now has 2 leds working, and the other none. I'm wondering how durable these are since they are mounted in the trunk lid and feel the impact every time you shut it...

At around $5.00 a pop, i'm not sure if i want to put them back in the license plate. They just may not hold up to closing the lid after a while. And besides, it's a pain to take down the trunk lid liner to replace them. Hopefully i won't get pulled over in the meantime!

I do not think it is the jarring of closing the truck lid that causes this. Unlike filament bulbs, LEDs do not have filaments that can break loose due to shock or vibration. I think these LEDs are just over driven that causes the short life span. I lost one of the LEDs on the license plate too but not before 2 of the interior lights that I converted to LEDs. Mine were all from superbright.

tec-toyz is just reselling LED's from www.superbrightleds.com

When you order 9 LED clusters from tec-toyz, you get these from SBL:

921-x9 Wedge Base LED bulb

I was having recurrent license plate LED failures as well, so tec-toyz replaced my rears with these from SBL:

WLED-WHP Pure White High Power

I found these high power LEDs to be far superior to the 9 led clusters. They're a single 1 Watt high power LED, and they are brighter than the 9 or 12 led clusters! I replaced ALL my 9 led clusters with these (interior)... even the reverse lights. The light emitted is more natural (not as blue/purple), and they work exceptionally well.
I've had no issues after 2 months now (on the licens plates and such), and everyone asks about them.
They only come in white at this time. They don;t work so well above the vanity mirrors/trunk, as the ligth has to be cast at 90 degrees.... but i put them there anyway.

I still use these:
921-x12 Wedge Base LED bulb

In BLUE on the front doors.

Have fun guys.

there is a DIY for center console. as stated in the DIY, DO NOT drop the wires into the "hole".

I replaced center console and glovebox lights just fine. not as difficult as I expected, but I read many posts on how to just to be sure. the glove box is easier than center console.

there are DIYs for reverse and license plate. I removed the whole trunk lid liner. (just becareful when removing those black plastic pins then remove screw from trunk lid handle and loosen both ends - read the DIY) once removed, reverse lights are right there, and plate lights are a little tricky - need to push in the tabs on both sides than remove the grey housing. no need to remove the clear cover at all.

maybe I should take some pictures since the liner is still removed because got wrong color bulbs. lol

which screw? there is only one metal screw holding the trunk handle.
are you talking about the black plastic pins? if yes, then there are 10 or 11 of them. make sure they are all removed. I missed one and I couldn't figure out until I saw the last pin. :-/

there are 11 black plastic pins. as you can see, there are 9 holes in the picture, but there are two more holes on the sides or somewhere (not shown).

reverse lights are outer ones (neon yellow/green) and the license plate lights are the inner ones (light grey):

I don't but trust me... They look great, and work excellent. Buy 4, try them in the interior dome lights. You'll like them so much, you'll want to do the rest of the car.

^^^ yeah, it also depends on interior color. and your preference. I ordered all white from tec-toyz, and he sent a few blues by accident. the blue has a "cool blue" effect, but IMO, not as bright as white. anyway, as Kennedy said, order a few of each color to compare side by side.
