How hard can I drive my Type S

Hey guys.. I am not that famriliar with hondas and acuras I has a Bmw before this. I have a 07 Type S with a Aem intake auotmatic transmision and I drive my car very hard very often. Can these motors handle the beating? I don't kill the car or drive to redline every gear but I drive it hard . I have yet to read of a motor blowing or something snapping on this
car
Thanks

That's right, floor the shit out of it! Knock yourself out!
Race every Benz, Beamer, and G35 you come across on the road, and show 'em whose boss!

Why care that you'll be paying $4/gal for premium by next month?
After all, you're already spending more on gas than non Type-S owners anyway, right? So what the hell?

Go ahead, slam yourself into a wall at 140 MPH and give those air bags a real work out........

Actually they are all lying the Type S has a problem with high RPMs and if you shift about 2000 RPMs the car will catch fire.

What I really wnated to know was are there any major problems with the car. Exampple my freinds wrx ..His tranny is fucked.. glass trany if he dumps the clutch at 5 k it's done. Another buddies mazdaspeed6 the rear axles snaped. There are comon problems there cars have tho. I haven't seen anything yet on the 07 Type S so I just wanted to know if I should be concernd about any issues if I beat my car
so far no problems..just a really bad smell when I park it

I beat the piss out of my 2001 Integra Type-R like you wouldn't believe, the car was at the race trace as soon as it had 600 miles on it, and regularly saw 9000 RPMS. BUT, I always took care of it with regular maintenance.

You just need to take care of the car and make sure you aren't neglecting it. For example, transmissions generally only become an issue when someone doesn't know how to shift.

Finally, don't be an idiot, take the care to a race track where it is okay to drive it to the limit.

Integra Type-R's and RSX's are near the top of the list of makes and models most likely to get involved in accidents.

You're right, if anyone wants to drive their car to the limit, TAKE IT TO THE TRACK!

Since you have an auto i would expect premature trans failure, which is normal on honda's and acura's anyways, but nothing your powertrain warranty wont take care of!

ROFLMAO ... u r killing me ... as a fellow TL-S driver, I'd say once in a while driving hard is fine, but getting a habit of driving hard will certainly shorten the life span of the car (so how long will you keep your car bud ?)
