I did 110 in my '96 2.5 TL. It felt like I was flying a plane and it was like I had no control over the car it was crazy, but that is as fast as I'll go I'm not looking to destroy my car because I actually love my car.

07 TL-S with about 700 miles on it. Took it to 2800-2900 RPMs looked at the speedo and I was about 108. I honestly can't tell the difference between 70 and 108 if I didn't look at the speedo. Wicked cool ride.
Turn 1K miles today and took it to 4500 rpms for the first time... man this car just pulls. I am looking forward to getting on it soon.
About ten years ago in my Saleen going from Jersey to Del... There is some tunnel you come out of. Well in the tunnel I was in 5th gear at about 5500 rpms (The speedo wasn't accurate above 90 as I changed the rear gears and didn't change the cable gear). I came out of the tunned easily doing 155+ (car had a Vortec) and there was a cop sitting out side the tunnel running radar.... I never lifted... and never heard from him...lol

yeah after getting busted last weekend for going 105, I'm not speeding anymore
he got me at 105 mph at 3AM, and didn't use radar....it was an undercover officer, in an unmarked cruiser
big lesson learned, still have yet to find out how much the fine will be...I'm guessing close to $500

135mph baby
I have a 07 TL-S (automatic). I hit 135mph the other evening coming home from work on the turnpike. I felt as though it had the power to go another 15mph, but not this time.... got a bit nervy! Car is nicely powered for a midsized (luxury) sedan.

did 140 mph (08 tl-s 5AT) on I-84 against a corvette tonight..
he underestimated the tl, he pulled up next to me and kept starin me down so i had to show him up . i beat him a couple of times (not by much) at a rolling 75 start but the last time (before my exit came up) he had me by a fender at the least. seemed as though the tl couldnt do anymore and his vette could have gone another 100mph easily..haha.
he had a mid-90s corvette. in any case i hope he learned not to underestimate the tl

i did 140 in my 04... was racing a g35... he thought he could take me on the southern st. pkwy, had to show him how my ride aint just for looks... usually takes me 45 min to get home.. that nite it took me about 15 maybe 20

My TL -S 6 MT has hit over 150mph on the A62 on the way to the 'Ring, I can't tell you exactaly the speed because I did not wan't to take my eyes off the road. I was passed by a Carrera GT like I was standing still. She will cruise at 110 all day long though

Definitely a smooth rideAnother time I got pulled over for 75 in a 65 on a back country highway as the officer used instant-on radar, so lesson learned....the radar detector is just an assistance tool to warn you when radar is being used, but don't think you are "immune to cops and radar" just because of having it. The radar detector will not go off until the officer pulls the trigger if he is using instant-on radar, as what happened to me last year.

I was coming from VA Beach to Northern VA at 3am so there were zero cars on the highway. I hit 150mph and travelled for a good 45 seconds. I wanted to go faster but i guess my ecu chip stops it at 150 :-(
p.s. that burned about 1/4 of a tank of gas haha don't do that too often unless you think gas is like buying a stick of gum from 7-11.

Having radar has definitely assisted...hit 146 today on 505. It would suck getting a ticker, would suck worse loosing control 
Regarding the under cover, was he tailing you and got speed that way? Haven't run into the instant-on

I pushed my TLS a little hard this weekend. 125 on 90 E coming back from New Orleans. I wish I had put it in manual mode and kicked it down to 4th. IT took a while to get it to 125, but I didn't have it floored. I just gradually leaned into it. But I ran out of highway. The car is surprisingly stable at these speeds. Anyone who has had it to the 140 - 145 range, does it shake? I remember about a decade or more ago when I had my Saleen, I would pin the speedo in 5th gear at 5500 and I swear my fillings were going to fall out.

Only thing, smelt like something heated up...haven't checked over the car yet. All fluid had been changed recently, and just had new tread put on a few weeks ago. Not sure what it could have been...
