How Do You Remove The Steering Wheel Emblem?

So I ran a few searches but came up with nothing. I was trying to figure out how to remove the emblem on the steering wheel of the 3G? The silver coating is rubbing off so I figured I'd just take the rest off and paint it. Any ideas? I'm assuming it is glued on so will heating it up do the job? Thanks in advance.

You're very welcome =)

Guy had the same problem as you basically.

So he taped up around the emblem and painted it with a brush.

Turned out really nice, plus no need to remove the emblem heheh

Looks good. I wonder what a blue that would match the interior lights would look like?

Just 'shopped it blue. Not so good. I think grey, chrome, glossy black or white is the way to go.

I thought I had some grime on mine and end up scraping half the silver chrome off with just a finger nail... I'll be doing the same thing too
