how do you install headlight bulbs?

I just order 12000k bulbs ,does anyone know how to install headlight bulbs on a 04 tl?i tried to look but theres a cover around the bulb.acura told me that i would need to drop the bumper and take out the headlight to get to the bulbs. a 2 hour job.it took me around 3 hours to lower the car.i dont want to spend the same time putting in bulbs.does any one have any ideas?

These threads from the 3G Garage may help you. Some people say you don't have to remove the bumper, and some say you do.

At the dealership...I have never had to remove the bumper to replace the bulbs. It's a lil tight and you will have to remove of the plastic panel but you can get to the headlight bulbs without taking off the bumper.

I did it through the wheel well, once you remove that stupid torque T-20 holding the cover is a piece of cake. Just get a stubby scredwriver and a T-20 and feel around for it and youll be able to remove the cover, once that is out just change the bulb. Takes about 5 minutes once that god damn retarded screw is removed! Dont even bother putting it back because it serves absolutely no purpose but to frustrate you!!

Doesn't a higher Kelvin bulb actually make it less dim?

I'm sure, but why would you pay them to do it when you can do it yourself?

I just did it today with this guide https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=139313 it's so helpful, it will save you some money from going to the dealership. Try the passenger side first then the driver side, you will have alot of room to work with on the passenger side than driver side. And when you finish the passenger side, you should have no problem on the driver side, except it will take you more time because you are working with less space in between. Just remember to take HID BALLAST CONNECTORS off!

I knew that but my car is a moving violation anyways (thats what the cop said). Another thing to the list is not going to break me - haha.
