How do you guys preventing the seatbelt buckle banging the side wall?
The seatbelt buckle is banging and scratching the the side wall. I am thinking of sticking a clear pad on the side.

Guide it back to its spot. Don't just let go of it.

Quote: Buckle it
When you unbuckle and release it the buckle hits the wall.

I had the same problem when I got my '06 TL - I learned to hold onto it and guide it back towards the top and it doesn't do it. After a few times it becomes a habit and you don't have to think about it. Be careful too about having jewerly on and fishing something, like a cell phone, from between your seat and the console - you'll scratch the side of the console.

my solution..... put a rubber band around the buckle and it won't scratch and it won't make banging noise..... perfect solution..... and it looks good
