I have two Acuras in my household, both with Homelink. One has been programmed to operate the garage door opener. How do I program the other car without undoing the programming of the first car? I've searched online to see if there are special instructions and found nothing. Also, my garage opener is one of the newer ones with a rotating code. If you have a link to instructions, that would be extremely helpful.

 

off the top of my head, i dont think it will matter. me and my step dad both have acuras and we have a rotating code on our opener and they both work fine. no special instructions needed. his was already programmed when i bought mine. i did the programing as instructed on the opener for my car and both cars work fine.

 

dont do anything different...once you have one programmed, do the same thing for the other....

just program the new one the way you programmed the other and you will be fine.

 

hold the remote to the garage up to the homelink module upside down press n hold the button to the garage n then press n hold the homelink button down til it flashes rapidly....programming done.
