hi

can anyone share me how do you change LEd door light bulb? i can't figure out how to remove the door light cover


appreciate your help

 

just insert a screwdriver with a soft piece of cloth over the flat screwdriver head into the little slot on the side of the door light cover.

 

Welcome to AZ Like mentioned above, just pry it up. It's very easy. Test the bulb before you put the light cover back on. Don't forget LED's current only travels one way, so you must have the LED in correctly. Which is why you want to test it before closing everything up. Good luck and have fun......

 

are you talking about the one at the bottom corner, or the blinky security LED near the lock? the bottom one is easy and instructions are listed above...actually, of all lights in the TL this is probably the easiest to get to. the cover pops off very easy. just go slow and try to find the one or two or three little notches that hold it on.

if you are talking about the red LED then thats a different story...

 

I thought he was talking about the courtesy door lights????

 

u r probably correct, but since its not an LED i had to throw the other one out there...

 

it's very simple and takes a total of maybe 20seconds. Like above find the notch in the cover using a small screwdriver or something similar and pop it off.

 

follow the instructions given by others and you will be fine

if you cant get the bulb out wrap a piece of scotch tape around it and pull on the end of the tape.

 

Good point! I forgot about the tape technique......

 

^ they're right...everyone seems to compliment my blue leds all the time when they see it. probably the most noticeable mod i've done

 

this is a great technique...it saved me a bunch of time and frustration
