Which hose is this and where should it go?

Was replacing a dead battery and found this hose sitting at the bottom of the battery tray, not connected to anything. Not sure if it was already there or somehow fell in there while I was swapping out the battery, and can't seem to figure out where it goes as nothing nearby seemed to be missing a hose, and the car appears to drive fine without it.

A reverse image search shows it could be an engine breather vent tube, HVAC line hose, radiator coolant hose, etc. but none of the results mentioned "Acura". Hoping someone knows before I pay the stealership to tell me, only to find out it's nothing to worry about

Yep, could be any of those.
Hard to tell really. Is the engine running fine? Do you see any open nipples that it could possibly connect to?

It looks like it was intentionally removed and I would just toss it, move on, and don't worry about it. it kind of looks like one of the hoses that goes to the throttle body but that's just a guess.

Hmm, didn't notice any open nipples near the battery (which is the only area I could've possibly bumped into) or anything odd during the short drive I took (didn't want to go further just in case) but will do another pass including the throttle body area.

For peace of mind I'll probably still ask about it next time it goes in for service, hopefully they won't charge a diagnostics fee if I insist if it was left behind last time

Any mods? Like an SRI/CAI?

It 100% looks like something off the throttle body or air intake.

Nope...completely stock under the hood. Looked at the throttle body and battery area again, still not seeing anything out of the ordinary.

I keep wondering how a hose like that could end up at the bottom of the battery tray. The stealership may have swapped a battery for me at one point, guess I'll need to dig thru old service records and see what else they did at the same time...sigh.

Looks like someone did the Throttle Body Coolant Bypass “mod”. Take a look at the link below, I did it years ago, to long to remember 100%, but that looks like the same length and shape of tubing.

Guess you're referring to the Coolant Into TB or Out of TB hose? I've never modded anything in the engine bay (and doubt the dealer would), so hoping this isn't the case on mine. But will keep it in mind when I get it checked out, thanks.

Interesting...I'd imagine not having that connected would be catastrophic, but will take a look.
