Honda/Acura Odomiter Class Action Lawsuit
I'm not sure if this has already been posted but...
Quoted from: http://www.hondaodometerclassaction.com/
Heres a link talking about it in more detail: http://www.usatoday.com/money/autos/...ter-usat_x.htm
I guess Honda is being sued for having odometer inaccuracy, even though Honda says that all there cars are within the SAE limit.
Anyways you might be entitled for compensation from over-mileage lease fines, or a 5% extension of your mileage warranty.
My apologies if this has been mentioned already, I just wanted to pass on the news
If you bought or leased a model year 2002 through 2006 Honda or Acura automobile or a model year 2007 Honda Fit, in the United States or its territories, between April 13, 2002 and November 7, 2006, you may be entitled to receive benefits under a class action settlement.
The Honorable T. John Ward, District Judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, preliminarily approved the settlement November 7, 2006. The final hearing on the settlement will take place at nine o'clock a.m., May 30, 2007 at the federal courthouse in Marshall, Texas.
Class Counsel for the Plaintiffs have created this website so that class members may access information about the settlement. We have also worked closely with Honda to create and train a staff of customer service representatives to answer your questions about the settlement. If you need to speak to someone on the phone about the settlement, we encourage you to contact the Honda Claims Center at 1-888-888-3082 or visiting www.odosettlementinfo.com.
