I must say that since i was 19yo, I've owned 10 Honda products and it's always a joy to be behind the wheel whether its going to run a quick errand or going on a 7hr road trip when I was in college in Florida or where ever my travels take me. This car keeps you comfortable while driving and you don't feel super tired after the trip. Honda make some of the most balance fwd cars period. You almost think its real wheel drive (ITR & Prelude SH for sure). I love my TL. I usually get a car every 2-3 yrs because I usually start to feel bored but not this car. It's aged so graceful around newer generations of cars out there. Once im back to work i cant wait to add-on to what Honda has done to make our car so great from the get go. Share your opinion about Honda/Acura motor company and your TL or whatever you own and how it makes you feel when your on a drive.

its a shame they focus on FWD. I like all the neat features in my car but why did they make it FWD. I also think all their newer cars fucking ugly, the TSX is the only good looking car they have.

The TL is my first Honda, I can definately tell it's FWD. I honestly have no interest in most of their products, but I got this car just to try something different and I always thought it was sharp looking. I'd consider a newer TL or Accord some day maybe if 5GTL or 10G Accord aren't hideous and come with a little more power. Honestly I'll probably go back to GM's after this car. I miss torque!

wow dont think I've ever heard that one before. We have an 05' Tahoe and the build quality is sub par compared to the TL. I think the only thing I'd consider by GM is probably a Z06/ZR1 or a XLR but those are in a different price range than the TL.

I've owned a 1993 Civic, 2001 Prelude, a 2003 Accord, and 1999 Acura CL and they were all fantastic cars to drive. Honda/Acura make GREAT cars! And the reliability is stellar!!!!

Iv always had Chevy/GMC trucks but I will always drive Honda cars, most are fairly straight forward to work on and have a good aftermarket following, I remember the first time I saw a 3g TL and couldn't believe how different it was from the 03's, couldn't afford one then but I have an 08 now and love it. There is not a thing I would change about the design of the 3g, looks good from every angle. I liked pretty much everything Acura was doing in the mid 2000s, I wish they still had an RSX style coupe in the lineup. I also still haven't come around to the modern space age look of the 09+ Acura's, but that's another discussion altogether.

That reminds me of a co-worker of mine that had a Pontiac G8 (also a Holden Commodore made in Australia) he would constantly give me shit about my "Japanese" car that was built in Marysville, Ohio. He then tried telling me the money from the sale of my car goes back to Japan just like the money from his car weant back to Australia. At least my car put Americans to work not like his car.
I love my TL, but my next car is definitely going to be rear wheel drive. After driving my friends e46 M3, and a 1 series M you just can compete with a rear wheel drive car. I do however like the 05 style WRX STI. There's nothing like the sound of a horizontally opposed 4 cylinder with a massive turbo and wastegate.

I think most cars in general the interiors and plastics are sub par, my TL rattles way more than my Trailblazer SS did. I don't regret buying the TL as I do enjoy it, but my main motivator was that the TL was valued a little less and got better MPG, a month after I bought the TL I took a job 3 miles away from home, go figure the gas savings are useless now. That 6 liter LS2 was a blast, the 3.2 is the smallest engine I've owned lol. I have a hunch I'll wind up in a crew cab Silverado next, I think the new RWD Chevy sedan coming out is gonna be tits but I my old school one isn't going anywhere and is modified enough to keep up with the newer stuff speed/handling wise.

I never really understood the appeal until I drove a 335i. With the smart key you never even need to get the key out of your pocket to get into a locked car and drive away. It is pretty damn convenient!

pretty sure someone did a push start mod on their 3G TL. the button goes where the key ignition initially was. might be cool, but not for me. i like how our TLs start up fine, no need to hold and crank. i think it was called one touch start.

Honda/acura used to be the fwd king but that was in the 90's. Not anymore. Now it is all about the renault megane and the ford focus rs. The Clio cup and fiesta rs are nice also. Too bad none of them are offered in the US.
The megane and focus rs both use a clever independent steering axis front suspension system to avoid torque steer under heavy throttle applications.
Honda has dropped the ball.
If they offered the megane rs in the US I would go buy one right away. Love that car. For a fwd acura I still prefer the dc2 integra type r.
