2004 TSX 6 Speed vs. 2007 A4 2.0T Auto

Who wins? Kid from work is saying his A4 would beat me slightly, I told him it would probably yes be close, but I don't street race so not testing it lol.

I'd say I beat him possibly from a roll, but with his AWD, he'll beat me from a dig, and I wouldn't have enough torque to make up for it.

 

to be honest if you are not testing it out then it doesnt really matter

What paperboy is saying there are just to many variables to give a good answer & the only way to know is to run the cars. Most cars with civilian drivers do not measure up to the pros who do the road tests for the mags.


+ its not unheard of for a mag to do a lot of runs to learn the car then post the best one. Just look at Drag Times & you will see major variations for cars that are equipped the same.

 

^Thank you bear-avhistory. Think about it, even if we say the tsx is faster, and people over at audizine say the A4 is faster, who's right? None of it matters until you guys try out a run. Even if we all said the tsx is a faster car, and somehow the audi wins, then what? Will you tell your friend, "O well my car is supposed to win, so when you beat me earlier it didn't count" Get my point?
