Dont do it. I'd be surprised if any hitches were made for a TL (or Accord for that matter).
You're better off purchasing an old spent pickup for a couple of hundred and just pulling your toy with that.

If you ever have any warranty issues with the power train, I would recommend removing any evidence of the hitch prior going into the dealer. Manual has some statement about no towing recommended.

Im sure you can find one, If you have another car get a yakima for it hell get a yakima for the TL, ( I wouldn't) but if thats all you have I understand. My buddy had to do the same with his 02 Z28. It doesnt look that bad cause its small and the only thing he uses it for is his mtn bike.
This is why you dont tow with a car.

Must get to bottle of Vodka to stop this shaking....
I do not believe the words "Tow" or "Hitch" and "TL" should ever be used together...same sentence, paragraph, hell, the same day.
Except, maybe, just maybe, in story format....
I decided to HITCH up my pants and go take out my TL for an afternoon of fun driving on winding roads.
Or
While driving my TL Sunday afternoon, I saw a G35 and an ES300 hooked up to a TOW truck. Can you believe how much those cars suck.
Hehe.
All seriousness aside, if for some reason you put a hitch on your TL...please, please...
DO NOT POST ANY PICTURES OF IT

To use the search, first click search, next type in something like "trailer hitch", then click on a thread dealing with your topic. In this case I chose:

This is why you won't see a trailer package for the new TL from Honda/Acura.

I wanted to get one for a hitch-mounted bike rack, too (I could take my wife's Highlander but it feels like I am driving a barge, after having driven the TL--also, pushing the brakes is like stepping into quicksand). My Yakima Super Joe trunk rack put black marks into the middle of my gold Honda Accord, right where the pads hit the trunk surface. Drawtite apparently is coming out with a hitch receiver that will fit the TL, a local distributor informed me. However, I couldn't justify spending $169 for the hitch, and $160 for the rack, when I just use it 3-4 times per month in the summer. I bit the bullet and bought a Saris Bones rack yesterday ($130), they are supposedly very easy on the car finish. Sorry guys, its just a car, and as much as I love it--any slight scratches or marks can be buffed out, in the unlikely event that the rack has a detrimental effect on the car. I can't give up riding my bike!

Rescueswimmer, the scratches don't scare me. This is not the nicest car that I will ever have. If I am that concerned about nicks, scratches and taking my TL through a carwash, then I really should be buying another $20k Honda. The real issue is whether I would rather buff out some scratches by hand (takes an hour per year, maybe) or spend $300 bucks on a hitch. I can buff out myself and save the 300 bucks.

My rack, incuding faring, cost over $300, so I would just assume put a hitch and hitch-mounted rack on a new car for the same money. Plus, a 95-pound woman has a tough time putting a 20-something pound mountain bike on the roof but not on the back of a hitch.
